Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Thred website at thred.qzz.io (the "Site") and your download and use of the Thred desktop application (the "App"), provided by Ayush Singh ("we", "us"). By using the Site or App, you agree to these Terms. Your use of the App is also governed by the End-User License Agreement.

1. What Thred is (and isn't)

Thred is a launcher that loads third-party AI services in isolated webviews. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or responsible for Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, or any other AI provider. Your use of each AI service is subject to that provider's own terms and policies. We do not control their content, availability, output, or pricing.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Site and App.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use Thred for unlawful purposes or in violation of any third-party AI provider's terms
  • Attempt to bypass usage limits, authentication, or security of any service
  • Reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute the App except as allowed by the EULA and its license
  • Disrupt, attack, or abuse the Site or its infrastructure
  • Submit malicious, infringing, or unlawful content via feedback or other forms

4. Intellectual property

The Thred name, logo, App, Site, and their original content are owned by us and protected by law. The App is released under the MIT License. Trademarks of third-party AI providers belong to their respective owners.

5. User submissions

Feedback, bug reports, and suggestions you send may be used by us to improve the product without restriction or obligation to you, unless prohibited by law.

6. Disclaimers

THE SITE AND APP ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. We do not warrant that the Site or App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

7. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SITE OR APP.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site at any time for violation of these Terms or for any lawful reason.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms; material changes will be notified via the Site. Continued use after changes means you accept them.

10. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be resolved under the laws of India.
